After completing his BS in Molecular Biology and Genetics Program, Gokhan earned his MS and PhD degrees in the Biotechnology Program at the Middle East Technical University. He worked in BIOMATEN and gained expertise in scaffold processing techniques including electrospinning, freeze drying and 3D printing. He joined the Zorlutuna Lab in 2018 and is currently working on aging-mimicking tissue engineered cancer and heart-on-chip models.
